RINA is currently recruiting for a Global Procure-to-Pay Buyer - Maternity leave to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Procure-to-Pay Division.

Mission

As a Global Procure-to-Pay Buyer, you will be an essential contributor to our Supply Chain operations, supporting the team by conducting supplier research, assessing credibility, and negotiating with small to medium-sized suppliers. You will evaluate purchase orders from various Business Units and supporting business processes throughout the entire BID stage through to project implementation. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in supply chain management within a dynamic, internationally oriented company committed to excellence and innovation.

Key Accountabilities

Support Supply Chain Strategy Implementation
- Ensure adherence to Supply Chain guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Vendor Management
- Maintain and update the Vendor List with detailed supplier information.
Performance Management
- Develop and maintain detailed performance scorecards and risk passports for suppliers.
Risk Monitoring
- Conduct regular risk assessments and monitor the risk passport process.
Supplier Performance Evaluation
- Evaluate supplier performance across multiple dimensions and ensure compliance.
Bid Management
- Manage the issuance, receipt, and detailed evaluation of RFQs and bids.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze Supply Chain data and generate reports to support decision-making.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Conduct thorough assessments of supplier capabilities and maintain strategic relationships.
Technical and Tender Support
- Collaborate with technical teams and participate in Tender Clarification Meetings.
Target Setting
- Define target prices and commercial conditions and communicate these to vendors.
 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

  • Short previous experience in procurement activities, including internships
  • Basic understanding or strong interest in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes
  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive and learning‑oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team in a dynamic environment
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory and compliance aspects within Supply Chain or procurement is considered a plus
  • Fluency in Italian and an excellent command of English are required
