RINA is currently recruiting for a Finance Project Control & Working Capital Advisor to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Credit & Finance Division.

Mission

As a Finance Project & Working Capital Advisor you will play a key role in managing the financial and working capital aspects of projects. This position supports strategic financial decision-making by conducting in-depth analyses, monitoring economic performance, and driving improvements in cash flow management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial efficiency and ensure alignment with business goals. #LI-VB1

Key Accountabilities

Project Financial Controlling:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting to drive efficient resource allocation.
  • Conduct in-depth financial reviews to assess project profitability, cost control, and risk management, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Work closely with project managers, finance teams, and commercial stakeholders to drive financial optimization strategies, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for enhancing project financial performance, supporting informed strategic decisions.

Working Capital Management:

  • Monitor working capital performance and develop initiatives to improve cash flow efficiency by identifying key improvement areas in receivables and payables management.
  • Support contract negotiation by analyzing financial terms and payment conditions, ensuring favorable agreements that enhance liquidity.
  • Develop and implement working capital improvement strategies, reducing payment collection delays, streamlining invoicing processes, and optimizing cash conversion cycles to sustain financial stability.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements by proactively identifying risks, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting audit processes.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial project controlling and working capital management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and lead financial initiatives within cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in Italian and proficient in English
