RINA is currently recruiting for a Energy Transition Technologies Project Manager to join its office in Genoa within the Energy Engineering Project Management Division.

Mission

RINA Consulting is a major worldwide player in engineering and consulting activities related to energy transition technologies. The energy engineering PM team drove the design of cutting-edge projects, from concept design to detail engineering, among which:-several green H2 and NH3 production plants and transportation systems -H2 readiness assessments on existing assets-CO2 capture, utilization transportation and storage solutions-integrated solutions, combining different technologies, from renewables to new vectors, on various applications onshore and offshore. #LI-MB4

Key Accountabilities

Project Support:
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project plans, defining individual tasks, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with the project team.
- Update project trackers and reports regularly to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
Client Interaction:
- Act as a supporting point of contact for the client, providing regular updates as directed by the Project Manager.
- Address client queries and concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary to maintain client satisfaction.
- Participate in client meetings, taking notes, and following up on action items.
Documentation:
- Prepare and organize project documentation, ensuring that all records, including contracts, scope documents, and timelines, are accurate and accessible.
- Track document versions and ensure compliance with company documentation standards.
- Assist in creating reports and summaries for internal and client use, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Scheduling and Coordination:
- Coordinate meetings, arrange logistics, and distribute agendas and minutes to relevant stakeholders.
- Track key project milestones and send reminders to the team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain and update the project calendar to reflect changes in timelines or deliverable deadlines.
Budget and Risk Monitoring:
- Support budget tracking by collecting and compiling expense reports and project costs for analysis.
- Assist in identifying potential budget variances and flag them for the Project Manager.
- Monitor project risks, document them in risk logs, and report findings to assist with risk mitigation.
Quality Assurance:
- Assist in conducting quality checks on deliverables, ensuring they meet the specified standards.
- Document and report any quality issues or deviations from the project plan.
- Provide feedback to the team on areas for improvement in project processes.

Education

Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Engineering

Qualifications

 -+1-3 years of experience in an engineering or technical role within a project setting, ideally with exposure to cross-functional teamwork.
- Fluency in English and Italian iS required
- Professional project management certifications are desirable (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or similar). A certification in Agile (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) can also be beneficial.
- Basic understanding of project management principles, including project lifecycle, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Basic knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies is advantageous, depending on the organization's preferred approach.
- Proven ability to work effectively in team settings, ideally with some exposure to cross-functional project work.
- Experience in tracking progress, managing schedules, and coordinating small project components or task lists.
- Basic data analysis skills to support project reporting, with the ability to interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
