RINA is currently recruiting for a Energy Power Projects Manager to join its office in Genoa within the Energy Project Solutions Division.

Mission

The project operating unit manager plays a critical role in the leadership of a team in order to achieve the objectives of the unit and of the relevant projects managed. The unit and project manager role is tailored to fit the Company’s request in the same way that the project management processes are tailored to fit the project. #LI-MB4

Key Accountabilities

The Unit and PM shall responsible for the overall coordination of the Project and he/she shall:
•    Manage the unit projects to achieve the Unit objectives
•    Take care that the services provided achieve the Quality standards set by the Client
•    Establish and maintain a reasonable communication system between all parties involved
•    Ensure that the RINA Project Team members will have all necessary information, specifications, procedures, work instructions, etc.
•    Ensure that RINA procedures are fully adhered by the personnel involved in the Project at all levels and at all different geographical location
•    Ensure that all RINA personnel involved in the Project on a worldwide basis is duly qualified for the required activities, in accordance to RINA Quality Management System
•    Ensure that the technical and commercial matters related to this contract are adhered to
•    Attend meetings related to the work on request of Client
•    Check Technicians time sheets for completeness and correctness
•    Complete on a monthly basis and forward to Client for its approval, RINA’s Timesheets
•    Manage the mobilization of personnel belonging to the geographical area of his competence with particular reference to the correct implementation of RINA Procedure (Call Off Order, etc.)
•    Select and submit the CVs and qualifications of the Technicians to Client for review
•    Ensure the correct use of resources
•    Forward to the technicians all the documentation related to the scope of work (Purchase Order, Technical Specifications, Schedules, Correspondence, etc.) and instruct them properly
•    Support the technicians during the activities and assist in the solution of any technical problem that may be met during the inspection and testing activities
•    Review periodical reports, if any and requested by Client, and comment them in case clarifications or modifications are required
•    Archive reports and all project related correspondence in the RINA system making them available to Client

Education

Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or Energy Engineering

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Energy Engineering is required
  • +4-5 years of experience 
  • Previous experience in Power generation sector
  • Previous experience in DL “direzione lavori”
  • Fluency in English & Italian Languages
