RINA is currently recruiting for a Energy Junior Business Developer to join its office in Genoa, Milan or Fano within the Mediterranean and Africa Engineering Commercial Management Division.
Mission
The mission of a Junior Business Developer is to be a pivotal driver of growth and expansion of business opportunities within the organisation. As part of a dynamic team at RINA Consulting S.p.A., the Junior Business Developer will be charged with enhancing the pipeline offerings and successfully securing contracts for a designated service portfolio within specific geographical areas. Key Accountabilities
As a Junior Business Developer, you will be responsible for a variety of key accountabilities that will contribute to both your professional growth and the overall success of RINA Consulting:
1. Drive and Monitor Order Intake Pipeline:
- Effectively manage the sales pipeline to ensure a continuous and healthy inflow of orders, while regularly assessing key performance indicators related to order intake.
2. Update Pipeline with New Prospects:
- Continuously scout for fresh potential clients, integrating them into the sales pipeline, and conducting meticulous research to assess their alignment with the organisation’s offerings.
3. Lead and Support on Contracts, Tenders, and Quotations:
- Take initiative in negotiating and securing significant contracts, alongside providing essential support in the preparation of tenders and quotations.
4. Contract Closing and Lessons Learned:
- Steer the activities required to successfully close contracts while ensuring lessons learned from completed contracts are documented for enhancing future processes.
5. Cross Selling and Mutual Opportunities:
- Collaborate across various departments to identify potential cross-selling opportunities, developing strategies that leverage synergies across the RINA Group.
6. Competitor Tracking and Intelligence:
- Keep an eye on competitor activities, translating industry trends and insights into actionable intelligence to refine the organisation's strategies.
7. Sales and Business Development Initiatives:
- Focus on generating new sales and business opportunities by conducting client visits and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective customers.
8. Alliances and Partnerships:
- Seek and explore avenues for partnerships and alliances that could open up new market possibilities for the business.
9. Customer Engagement and Satisfaction:
- Foster engagement with customers to gain a deeper understanding of their needs, while supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and repeat business.
10. Stay Current with Offerings and Technology Solutions:
- Make it a priority to remain informed about the organisation's current and impending offerings, articulating technological solutions effectively to clientele.
Education
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of the business development world, sales strategies, or related roles is often a key requirement.
- +2 years of experience in engineering universe
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools, including CRM systems will be considered as a strong plus
- Fluency in Italian and English languages
