RINA is currently recruiting for a Energy & Mobility Research & Innovation Project Manager to join its office in Rozzano or Genoa, Italy within the Energy & Mobility Commercial Division.

Mission

This role focuses on the project management of international R&D projects, focused on power generation, renewable sources, district heating and smart power grid management.

Job Responsibilities

The new resource will be part of the team Innovation for Energy&Mobility, which is mainly exposed to R&D projects and innovation activities. He/she will:

  • Manage or support the management of EU R&D projects, in the field of power generation (renewable energy and its integration in new sectors), decarbonization & energy transition, district heating, power grid development
  • Contribute to RINA’s activities of technical development, in the framework of EU funded projects also interacting with international partners
  • Contribute to or delivery reports and results European research and innovation projects involving energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies and the smart grid
  • Contribute to the creation of new opportunities and the preparation of new proposals in the framework of European and international R&D programmes
  • Contribute to the growth of RINA’s network of R&D partners in the field of power generation and distribution

Skills and Education

  • Degree in energy/electrical/mechanical engineering with focus on electrical grid, renewable energy technologies, smart grids, energy efficiency
  • Fluent in English and Italian
  • Excellent reporting skills both verbal and written
  • Capacity to conduct research, organize work and produce results
  • Good attitude to teamwork
  • Open-minded to innovation, creativity and good attitude to networking
