RINA is currently recruiting for a Decarb & Chain of Custody Senior Product Developer to join its Certification Market Development Division.

The Senior Product Developer will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our offerings, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands. This position requires strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact results. The focus areas include greenhouse gas inventories, GHG reduction projects, carbon footprint, climate neutrality, Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), biofuels and other renewable or recycled carbon fuels, circular economy, and bio-based economy. #LI-MC1

Key Accountabilities

Product Portfolio & Regulatory Management

Manage selected Product Portfolio services in compliance with regulatory requirements and successfully launch new strategic services, either directly or through collaboration with relevant teams.
Oversee implementation and delivery of services in line with regulatory standards.
Maintain and develop relationships with accreditation and regulatory bodies.
Design and develop new services aligned with regulatory trends and client needs.
Draft certification documentation according to regulatory requirements.
Coordinate training programs for auditors and staff.
Develop and implement pricing strategies balancing market competitiveness with profitability.
Monitor and analyze service portfolio performance using KPIs, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to integrate new services seamlessly into the existing portfolio.
Plan and conduct third-party audits of organizations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support

Act as a key advisor to operational and commercial teams on new product strategies and customer management practices.
Provide mentorship and guidance to ensure teams are equipped to handle product-related challenges effectively.

Stakeholder Engagement & Market Influence

Build and maintain strategic relationships with industry leaders, stakeholders, and decision-makers to influence market trends and innovation.
Represent the company in high-level industry forums, enhancing its reputation for thought leadership and innovation.

Knowledge Management & Team Development

Lead initiatives to disseminate knowledge and best practices across the business unit.
Mentor junior team members, fostering professional growth and ensuring a high standard of product development expertise within the team.

Education

Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Energy Engineering

Qualifications

Over 5 years of experience in the sustainability field (mandatory).
Experience in auditing or general conformity assessment services.
Expertise in developing certification services.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience in leading service development teams.
Ability to define go-to-market strategies and manage the service lifecycle.
Experience in pricing strategies and value proposition design.
Awareness of digital transformation trends and emerging technologies.
Good written and spoken English
