RINA is currently recruiting for a Corporate & Project Finance Consultant to join its office in Geona or Rozzano within the Sustainability and Business Innovation Division.
Mission
RINA is looking for a motivated Consultant to join the Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline in Genova or Rozzano.
Economics, Finance and Strategy Discipline provides consulting services such as Commercial & Financial Due Diligence, Financial Modelling, Business Planning, Market Analysis, Subsidized Finance (e.g., Innovation Fund, IPCEI, CEF, etc.), Cost-Benefit Analysis. We deal with large companies, SMEs, international financial institutions, investment & commercial banks, development & multilateral banks, governmental & export credit agencies.
Key Accountabilities
As Consultant, you will work as part of a young and motivated team, helping clients to:
- Conduct Commercial Due Diligence activities (e.g., market research, business analysis, business planning, risk assessment, sensitivity analysis), providing independent opinion.
- Review and analysis of historical trading, cash flow and balance sheets.
- Develop and review financial models for innovative projects particularly focused on decarbonization (e.g., solar, wind, hydrogen, ammonia, carbon capture, grids, etc.).
- Conduct market research activities providing strategic insights on innovative technologies, trends and policies, based on quantitative (e.g., forecasting) and qualitative analysis (e.g., industry expert interviews, customer and competitor research, etc.).
- Elaborate financial strategies and elaborate project applications to funding opportunities (e.g., Innovation Fund, IPCEI, CEF, etc.).
- Deliver market analysis, cost-benefit analysis, business planning, business modelling, and exploitation strategies for Horizon Europe funded projects and participate in general assemblies and events around Europe. #LI-SC1
Education
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management or similar, with record of strong academics achievement.
- 1-4 years of work experience in management consulting firms (e.g., Big4), financial institutions or in similar roles in corporates.
- Previous experience in Commercial and/or Financial Due Diligence.
- Previous experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is considered a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner.
- Very good command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Ability to build and maintain and internal and external quality professional relationships.

Compensation Data
Compensation & BenefitsThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).
The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €30,000 and €40,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
