Construction Quality Control Engineer

RINA is currently recruiting for a Construction Quality Control Engineer to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the PMC & Construction Supervision Division.
Mission
This role focuses on ensuring that QA/QC Plan and procedures are correctly applied, verify the uniformity and coordination among all members and ensure uniformity and coherence.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the document chain relating to quality control, in particular SCQ, PCQ and QCQ, in addition to non-conformities and the relative opening and closing register of the same
- In accordance with the procurement code, he/she must support the construction manager in the approval of the materials used in the construction in accordance with the project and define the procedures and the quality control plan, highlighting the type (mandatory presence of the construction management, for information only etc.)
- Develop plans and make calculations for a variety of elements within an engineering project, draw blueprints and structural diagrams under the supervision of a principal engineer or a managing engineer
- Provide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, visit sites to take measurements
- Provide direct or indirect support to engineers or engineering teams by gathering data for permit applications, submitting documentation to officials and other day-today duties
- Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines
- Prepare the project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentations and engineering drawings, etc.)
- Prepare progress reports and present them to engineers and other personnel
- Be aware and understand the Quality Policy.
- Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS.
- Be aware of the quality of his own work and its impact on service delivery and contribute to the QMS improvement according to his/her role #LI-AC2
Requirements
- Italian Law (Public Procurement Code Legislative Decree 50/2016)
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
