RINA is currently recruiting for a Cloud Architect to join its office in Genoa or Rome within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud infrastructure solutions that support the company's strategic goals. This role aims to ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud services, driving innovation and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

Cloud Architecture Design and Development
- Design and develop cloud architecture solutions that meet business requirements.
- Ensure architecture is scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Collaboration and Implementation
- Collaborate with IT, security, and development teams to implement cloud strategies.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Cloud Services Evaluation and Selection
- Evaluate and select cloud providers and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) based on business needs.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to determine the best cloud solutions.
Deployment and Management
- Oversee the deployment, management, and operation of scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems in the cloud.
- Ensure continuous monitoring and optimization for cost-efficiency and performance.
Governance and Security
- Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks and best practices.
- Ensure cloud solutions comply with security policies and regulatory requirements.
Technical Leadership and Guidance
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud migration and integration projects.
- Mentor and train team members on cloud technologies and best practices.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance cloud infrastructure and services.
Troubleshooting and Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Provide support and incident management for cloud-related issues.

Qualifications

 - Proven +5 years experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role in cloud computing.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems
Master’s Degree in Computer Science
