RINA is currently recruiting for an Cloud Architect to join its office in Genoa or Rome, Italy within the Architecture, Integration & Data Governance Division.
Mission
The role is focused on defining enterprise and application architectures, effectiveness and security compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to technological architecture and solution design
- Evaluate the architecture of business application proposed by supplier
- Definition of architectural guidelines
- Support in definition of Application Life-cycle management guidelines
- Lead IT projects aimed at modernizing and enriching the overall IT eco-system
- Ensuring that the designs are coherent across the solution and compliant with applicable standards and policies
- Identification of any constraints from the IT system that may impact on the overall solution
- Support to and collaboration with the Cyber Security Team to ensure that the designs met the security requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in IT Architecture design or IT Project Management
- Experience in developing web applications
- Ability to manage multiple work streams and complex projects working with different IT departments
The role will require solid hands-on expertise going in especially around the technical skills required below:
- Cloud computing (in particular MS Azure)
- Modern IT architectural pattern (SOA, microservices)
- Containerization, and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD tools and release automation (Azure DevOps)
- Software quality best practices (ISO27001) and GDPR
- Infrastructure and systems monitoring and troubleshooting
- Application Security and “Security by Design” approach in development
- Notions of Data Architecture and Governance
Nice to have:
- MS Azure certifications
- PRINCE2 certifications
- ITIL certification
- Other IT certification
