RINA is currently recruiting for a Marine EMEA Region Credit Collection Advisor to join its office in Poland within the South Europe Marine Division.

Mission

Control of the daily and monthly volumes of collections and the maximization of efforts to collect receivables in time (by the agreed payment terms), the reduction of overdue, bad debt and write-offs and finally contribution to the company's financial health.

Key Accountabilities

  • Daily contact with debtors ( phone calls , reminders via email , send monthly statements, face-to-face meetings ) to obtain the payment details of all overdue invoices
  • Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and reconcile customers’ ledgers
  • Negotiate payment with clients acting proactively and avoiding past due cases
  • Communicate with Corporate Credit Management and other team members about methods and strategies to ensure a positive rate of customers agreeing to repay their debts 
  • Close cooperation with business development department to secure payment of old balances
  • General support in accounting department regarding the correct registration of payments received by clients
  • Be the point of reference in case of issue or complaints from the side of customers trying to solve any matter in co-ordination with other departments

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Collection officer, accounts receivable/credit control department
  • Good/proficient accounting knowledge
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance , Business Administration or a similar field
  • Excellent English speaker – proficiency is required
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management skills are essential to complete all required client calls daily
  • Trustworthy and responsible
  • Ability to work well and proactively in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills and data driven approach
  • Attention to details and organizing skills
