RINA is currently recruiting for a Europe Supply Chain Senior Buyer to join its office in Poland within the International Supply Chain Division.

Mission

The Senior Buyer will play a pivotal role in optimizing Supply Chain strategies. This role involves conducting in-depth supplier research, negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier orders from Business Units, supporting business processes from bid preparation to project execution ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role is vital in ensuring that our Supply Chain strategies are robust, cost-effective, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Supply Chain Strategy Development & Implementation:
- Lead the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies, ensuring full compliance with guidelines, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Advanced Vendor Management:
- Oversee the scouting and segmentation of suppliers, maintaining a comprehensive Vendor List.
Robust Performance Management:
- Implement and manage performance scorecards and risk passports, ensuring supplier compliance and risk mitigation.
Comprehensive Risk Assessment:
- Conduct detailed risk assessments and manage the risk passport process.
In-depth Supplier Evaluation:
- Evaluate supplier performance across all dimensions, ensuring high standards of compliance and quality.
RFQ & Bid Management:
- Issue RFQs, manage bid receipts, conduct thorough evaluations, and compare bids.
Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on Supply Chain performance and make strategic recommendations.
Strategic Supplier Relationship Management:
- Conduct in-depth assessments of supplier capabilities and maintain long-term, strategic relationships to drive innovation.
Technical Collaboration & Tender Support:
- Lead collaboration with Business for technical evaluations and actively participate in Tender Clarification Meetings.
Target Setting & Negotiation:
- Define target prices, communicate with vendors for Best and Final Offers, and negotiate contracts.
Final Bid Comparison & Contract Management
Conduct final bid comparisons, evaluate commercial conditions, and finalize contracts with vendors.
Internal Approval & Reporting
Provide internal approval on recommended vendors and generate regular Supply Chain performance reports.
International Vendor Management
Manage both foreign and local aspects of Vendor Inspection management and international Supply Chain planning.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Chain management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Advanced level of English and Polish
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in Supply Chain activities.
