RINA is currently recruiting for a Pipelines Junior Engineer to join its office in Fano, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to the engineering team in designing solutions for pipelines, machines, systems or structures, respecting time, budget and quality requirements

Key Accountabilities

Technical and management activities related to Energy field, especially in “Onshore & Offshore Pipeline, Gas Distribution Network and Pipelines H2 Readiness and associated software. Develop reports related to the analysis previously carried out; review of the reports prepared by others and approval for issue to the client; management and control of the work distribution and progress; management of work progress with the customer to obtain approval to invoicing.

  • detailed knowledge of professional/ technical area
  • facilitate discussion to influence others’ development needs and plans for improvement
  • produces workable solutions to a range of problems and understanding of how one issue may be part of a much larger system
  • detailed knowledge on work and experience on delivery management; able to take decisions and responsible for credible output
  • work documents review and approval
  • understanding the client’s needs, preparing the necessary material and attending client meetings 
  • knowledge of the Rina presentation/promotional material and its use
  • ability to build an excellent rapport and establish a network of key clients
  • ability to identify potential business development opportunities and pass these onto the appropriate colleagues

Education

Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering

Qualifications & Experience

Experience and Requirements:

  • Previous professional experience (maximum 3 years) in the Energy field, especially in Onshore & Offshore Pipelines Design and consulting, Gas Transportation (and distribution Networks), Pipelines H2 Readiness.
  • Knowledge of the main Oil & gas software (Sage Profile or equivalent, Autopipe, Caesar, Autocad etc.);
  • Knowledge of internationally recognized codes and rules such as DNV, API, ASME, NACE, NFPA, etc.
  • MS Office knowledge.

Soft skills:

  • Problem solving attitude;
  • Excellent level of English and Italian, both spoken and written;
  • Organizational and time management skills;
  • Flexibility and the ability to also multi-task in fast-paced working conditions;
  • Availability to travel for short period.
