JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The main responsibility is the installation of a several-thousand tons module/structure onto an existing and operating oil production platform, including installation supervision in compliance with international standards, company specifications and construction best practices.

2. Other responsibilities are in connection with the planning, preparation, supervision and finalization of all marine operations in the offshore area and in connection with the offshore (jacket/deck/hang-offs) and subsea (wellheads, “x-mas” trees, manifolds, jumpers & tie-in spools, Pipe-End Termination / Manifolds (PLEM), Umbilical Termination Assemblies (UTA), protection structures, mud-mats and foundations, guide frames and installation aids.

3. Effectiveness, efficiency (high competence on mooring systems is required) and safety of installation activities execution (including emergency management capacity).

4. Contribution to quality and technical integrity of installed systems, and, in case, selection of the best installation alternative, including technical/economical solutions for installation.

5. In case, coordinate or be part of Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS), taking place simultaneously with Well Operations or Logistics Operations due to other projects. In these cases, continuous supervision and guarantee of information alignment are required.

KEY ACTIVITIES

1. Marine installation supervision and support to commissioning

2. Marine systems selection, application of systems to installation and installation supervision.

3. Provisional phases, including sea-fastening and marine vessels preparation to operations.

4. Providing marine systems installation follow-up

5. Corrosion protection and Cathodic protection systems/solutions application/removal

6. Material selection, in case of changes/modifications

 

MINIMUM and MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

 

1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering from an accredited university

2. Work experience of eight (8) years after earning the university degree

3. Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports.

4. Be entitled to work in Europe
