RINA is currently recruiting for a I&C Engineer to join its office in Fano, Genoa or Milan, Italy within the Plant Engineering Division.

Mission

Join RINA as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to contribute to and lead projects within our I&C Team. This role involves collaborating with peers, executing engineering projects, and playing a key role in the technical decision-making processes of the Division.

Key Accountabilities

The engineer will be responsible for executing Projects within the division, interfacing and coordinating with others. 

The candidate will be responsible for his technical duties and potentially those of his Team and will refer through the Division hierarchy. Duties will include the execution of engineering projects from the proposal phase to the final reporting, and they will interface directly with clients and vendors, representing the Company and the I&C Department.
Ability to develop in autonomy the various steps required in designing instrumentation, control, safety, F&G and telecom systems, including preparation of technical specifications, data sheets, architectures, layouts and lists. He can also be required to review the design documentation developed by others, perform Capex, technical bid evaluations, and the Vendor’s follow-up.
Involvement in the technical decisional processes of the Division.

Education

Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Automation and Control Engineering

Qualifications

Four to seven years of consultancy experience in I&C for the oil and gas and power generation industry (onshore/offshore).
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on diverse and challenging activities.
Proficient in working within a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to complex projects.
Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods based on project needs.
Working knowledge of international standards for Instrumentation Safety and F&G detection.
Proficiency in PC use (MS Office) and common commercial software tools for instrumentation.
Good command of spoken and written technical English and fluent Italian. #LI-AU5
