Electronic System Engineer

RINA is currently recruiting for a Electronic System Engineer to join its office in ROME  within the Electronics and Systems Engineering Division.

The Electronic System Engineer consultant will support to develop tailor-made system solutions that meet specific requirements and will contribute to design, produce and use Special tools and Test Equipment (STTE). These solutions will provide added value through design and process optimisation and efficiency. The system specification activities are defined and allocated with clear and comprehensive requirements collaborating with both client stakeholders and end-users to understand system needs.Junior profiles or Skilled profiles are an integral part of the selection.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will involve:

• Drafting the project documentation and Integration/Validation plans.Writing of test scenarios.
• Provide effective support for tool validation.Provide support for the execution of verification tests of the ground tool.
• Programmatic and technical reports.contribute to project milestone reports.support during the required project reviews.

SKILLS:

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the technology fields of electronic and electrical engineering, as well as good practice in essential skills such as risk management and requirements analysis.

The following skills will be positively evaluated:

• Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies.
• Master the concepts of voltage, current, power and efficiency.Master the concepts of frequency and time domain, as well as transfer function.
• Knowledge of the main design tools (e.g. Altium Designer, Kicad, LTSpice, AutoCAD, Inventor).
• Basic knowledge of communication channels and I/O interfaces (MIL-STD-1553 and deterministic Ethernet knowledge is beneficial).
• Basic knowledge of the architecture of an avionics computer (experience in this field will be beneficial).Basic knowledge of programming elements.
• English language.
