RINA is seeking for a freelance collaboration/independent‑contractor arrangement (i.e., non‑employment) a highly experienced NEC3/4 Contract Manager to support complex infrastructure programmes — ideally in rail, tunnelling, or civil/structural works.

The role will be full‑time on‑site in Dublin (Ireland), with activities expected to start in May 2026. The initial engagement is planned for 2 years, with the possibility of extension up to 12 years, which corresponds to the full duration of the project.

Key Requirements:

- Extensive experience with NEC3/4 contracts (or equivalent qualifications aligned with ISO 21502) and contract execution in large-scale, multidisciplinary engineering projects.

- Proven leadership skills, including team management and mentoring.

- Strong report-writing, documentation, and presentation abilities.

- Solid understanding of CEMAR.

- NEC3/4 ECC Supervision accreditation recommended (or equivalent qualifications aligned with ISO 21502).

- Minimum Level 8 degree in law, quantity surveying, engineering, construction, project management, or related.

- Chartered membership (e.g., Engineers Ireland, RICS).

- At least 15 years’ experience, including 7+ years contract supervision on large infrastructure or railway projects.

- Experience in contractor/consultant performance monitoring, claims management, KPI frameworks, KPI library development.

Role Responsibilities:

This senior role requires strong leadership, deep contract management competencies, and the ability to guide a team of 2–5 professionals while working closely with the Project Manager throughout the entire project lifecycle. The position supports the Project Manager across planning, delivery, assurance, and compliance, serving as the primary site representative to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible execution. It includes managing quality oversight activities such as reviewing QMPs, ITPs, method statements, and risk assessments, and performing site and off‑site inspections. The role oversees compliance processes, including NCR management, corrective actions, inspection record reviews, and verification of workmanship and as‑built documentation. It also coordinates site logistics, leads workforce and progress meetings, maintains site diaries and photographic records, and contributes to monthly reporting. In addition, the position supports Compensation Event assessments, promotes HSSE culture, and ensures adherence to the quality management system and proper archiving of project documentation. #LI-FC1
