FSRU Lead - Cork, Ireland

Exceptional FSRU Lead required to join RINA’s Energy capability in Ireland. Your role will be to oversee the procurement and delivery of an FSRU for the client organisation. You will join the programme at concept stage, working closely with the Contract Manager, and provide advisory as to the appropriate technical solution and operational delivery of the FSRU programme.

 

This role will be based in Cork, Ireland. 2 year Fixed Term Contract.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide FSRU commercial, contractual and pricing consultancy services to the client;
  • Accountable for complex contractual negotiations across a complex systems integration programme;
  • Deliver technical assurance for the FSRU/LNG solution;
  • Ensure operational excellence, working with disparate project delivery teams across multiple suppliers and experts including legal, commercial and technical;
  • Influence and convince senior stakeholders within client and other critical stakeholder organisations.

 

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
 

  • Between 10-17 years’ FSRU/LNG specialisation;
  • At least a Bachelors degree in Engineering (either Maritime, Mechanical or Structural);
  • Professional Services experience, delivering Consultancy services;
  • Commercially skilled, with expertise of leading FSRU contract negotiations and procurements & pricing;
  • A strong understanding of technical systems and components required for an FSRU programme, including storage, regasification and safety systems;
  • Collaborative working: have a track record of working with multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Strong FSRU planning experience, across commissioning, operational and maintenance capabilities.
