Maintenance Superintendent (Basilicata)

SCOPE OF WORK: 

The Maintenance Superintendent will be the focal point for coordinating and supervising site maintenance activities to ensure asset integrity, reliability, and availability. He will work closely with Production, Maintenance, Inspection, and Smart Room teams to define maintenance priorities, optimize short and longterm maintenance plans, and support predictive and reliabilitybased maintenance strategies in line with safety, production, and budget objectives. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Participate to HAZID, HAZOP, fault tree analysis, PTW process, weekly safety meeting and H.S.E site committee, attend all meetings related to maintenance at site  

• Identify in collaboration with Operating Authority the maintenance needs to guarantee the adequate level of safety at sire, in full respect of production budget, and then in liason with maintenance DPT defines the activity program in order to minimize production short falls. 

• In liaison with smart room follows sensitive parameters of process and rotating equipment (vibrations, pressures, temperatures, reliability/Availability /running hours/efficiency) advising Production Dept on the best strategy to be applied for maintenance in order to achieve reliability/availability  objectives. 

• Support Smart room and reliability engineer in developing predictive maintenance with a pragmatic approach in order to optimize maintenance cost versus availability 

• Control  short and long terms maintenance plans ensuring the respect of affiliate maintenance policy (equipment swapping, running policy), working with maintenance DPT. 

• Liaise with inspection to optimize equipment’s down time periods and ensuring the integrity of facilities. 

• define the priority of several maintenance tasks (after coordination with OA) sharing the information with maintenance DPT and checking the congruence of implementation in 5WLA  

• Participate to the daily permit to work meeting and hold daily, weekly, monthly maintenance meetings. 

• Guaranty the validity and relevance of site maintenance procedures. 

• Check spare parts and lubricants are available for the maintenance program. 

• Analyse the causes of breakdowns and production shortfalls with production team. 

• Participate in preparing the budget for normal and heavy maintenance activity 

• Analyse the quality and relevance of maintenance activities and carries out selective reviews. 

• Organise multi trade audit of the installation with discipline managers. 

• Evaluate the performances of the maintenance contractors and suggest ways to improve performances, enforce contractor HSE plan in line with affiliate objectives. 

• Share with maintenance DPT plant maintenance KPI performances. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Formal Education (Diplomas): Engineer Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrument  

• Professional experience: 10 year-experience in Maintenance field activity, at least 5 in operational maintenance oil & gas plant. 

• Technical knowledge: Maintenance activities & contracts management. 

• Fluent in Italian and English language (speaking and writing). 

• Others: Natural authority, decision making, good organization and communication skills, methodical, rigor and proactive are essential.
