RINA is currently recruiting for a Scandinavia Railway Certification Assessor to join its office in Albertslund within the Transport & Infrastructure Certification Division.

Mission

As a Senior Safety Assessor, you will work with discipline assessment, lead assessment and project management. You will be the main point of contact for our clients, lead meetings with clients and our assessor team and take part in important meetings with our NSA. Besides working with CSM RA assessment and TSI verification and securing the deliveries in our assessment and verification plans, you will also work with efficient dialogue and support the project actively in reaching the satisfactory results in time. Of course, always without sacrificing high quality in our work

Key Accountabilities

For the senior safety assessor profile, we expect you have discipline experience with the assessment activities or validation activities, and you are experienced project manager. You could also be a specialist today, with years of experience within the railway infrastructure or rolling stock discipline. You could have achieved such experience both working as assessor, or you could have worked as a consultant or in a client organisation. In addition, you have documented project management skills, for the management of both smaller and larger projects.

It is a benefit if you have worked as assessor (but not a requirement).
 

  • Perform assessment and validation activites releted to the projects in the Railway environment;
  • Act as the main point of contact for our clients, lead meetings with clients and our assessor team;
  • Ensuring the deliveries in our assessment and verification plans;
  • Work with efficient dialogue and support the project actively in reaching the satisfactory results in time;
  • Mentor and share knowledge with others Junior Assessor;
  • Conduct activities in line with interal procedure, accreditation schemes, legisltion and industry standars;
  • Develop technical knowledge to other employees to achieve effective knowledge tranfer and application;
  • Make reccomendations based on external client feedback to assist in the service delivery improvement;
  • undertake project management activities, where applicable inlcuding the progress of the projects;
  • design verification according to reference standards, structural checks, completeness checks on the quality system documentation;
