Rina is seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC CSA Inspector to join our team at the SPIRE LNG Plant in Coosada, Alabama. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical components and systems with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
The CSA Inspector must reliably commute or plan to relocate for the duration of the assignment.

 

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS and CERTIFICATIONS 

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Comprehensive knowledge of ACI and applicable national quality standards.
- Proficiency in QA/QC processes, including initiating, planning, monitoring, and closing quality activities. 
- Strong familiarity with industry standards, including AWS, NEC, and other construction norms.
- Demonstrated ability to use project management and reporting tools effectively (Microsoft Office,Google Workspace, etc.).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving quality initiatives. 
- Assisting in developing inspection testing plans

- Minimum 10 years of experience in an EPC environment, focused on large-scale Oil & Gas, chemical, or hazardous material construction projects (ideal is a strong Experience in LNG plant)

-At least 5 years of direct QA/QC experience in civil and structural disciplines within the construction industry.

- Extensive experience with concrete placements and steel structures in onshore projects.

 

EDUCATION

- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum Requirement: Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a CSA Inspector, you will:
- Conduct inspections of civil, structural, and architectural works to ensure compliance with approved
designs, specifications, and standards.
- Verify construction methods, materials, and workmanship against project requirements, including ACI
and AWS standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review and provide input on change orders, equipment
performance testing plans, and small project designs.
- Generate and maintain quality assurance (QA) documentation, including punch lists, non-
conformance reports (NCRs), and validation records.
- Assist validation efforts to verify compliance with construction norms and safety standards.
- Coordinate with construction superintendents to resolve field issues and ensure corrective actions are
implemented.
- Support the development of project-specific QA/QC ITPS for civil, structural, and architectural works. 
- Conduct audits and inspections to monitor contractor performance and adherence to project quality
standards.
