RINA is currently recruiting for a North America Senior HRBP to join its office in Chicago within the Global Human Resources Division.
Mission
The Senior HR Generalist will lead the overall operations of the Human Resources, including but not limited to full cycle recruiting, training, employee relations, employee engagement, administration of benefits, HRIS administration, and a wide range of HR generalist duties as needed.
Key Accountabilities
Advanced Employee Engagement Oversight:
- Take a lead role in designing and refining employee engagement and recognition programs, leveraging experience to enhance morale and overall employee satisfaction.
HRIS and Data Management Leadership:
- Provide leadership in HRIS data management, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry, and overseeing the approval and processing of changes.
Talent Acquisition Support and Expertise:
- Offer advanced support to the Talent Recruiting Team, possibly taking on more complex requisitions and actively contributing to the improvement of the talent acquisition process.
- Leading the he recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and managing interviews, when Talent Recruiting Team is not present in the cluster.
Organization Structure Maintenance and Enhancement:
- Lead efforts in maintaining and enhancing the organization's structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
HR Policy Guidance and Enforcement:
- Serve as a go-to resource for HR policy guidance and interpretation, taking a more active role in enforcing policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals.
Advanced Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:
- Handle more complex employee relations issues, disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, using experience to navigate sensitive situations.
Enhanced Onboarding Coordination:
- Lead the planning and preparation for new hire orientation and other onboarding activities, possibly taking on a mentorship role for junior HR staff involved in onboarding.
Senior Level Personnel File Management:
- Oversee the management of both active and inactive employee personnel files and I-9 documentation at a senior level, ensuring compliance with federal and state law requirements.
Expertise in Learning & Development Data Management:
- Utilize advanced skills in managing data associated with learning and development through the Learning Management System (LMS).
Leadership in Company Communication:
- Take a more prominent role in assisting the HR Team with company communication, possibly overseeing or contributing to communication strategies and initiatives.
Education
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources.
- Solid knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and best practices.
- Proficiency recruitment experience with engineering, consulting or professional services field strongly preferred
- Proficiency working in and pulling data from an HRIS preferred
- Knowledge of relevant HR labor laws and regulatory requirements
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
