RINA is currently recruiting for an Energy US Business Development Director.

Mission

The Energy US Business Development Director will join Rina’s Commercial organization. The mission is to maximize the commercial success of the Energy Business Unit with customers located in The United States. The commercial success is measured through the Order Intake amount (i.e. the amount of contracts awarded) and the relevant marginality. The result will be pursued in close collaboration with the Energy Business Unit, as well as several Corporate functions (Marketing, Communication, …)

 

 

Key Accountabilities

The Energy US Business Development Director will lead a team of Business Development Managers to accomplish the following points:

  • Set up & support the roll out of the US commercial strategy
  • Promote the RINA brand in the US market (by networking, promotional activities, conferences/exhibitions, …)
  • Coordinate with Operations Units Management to guide long term objectives to meet business needs and requirements
  • Cooperate to achieve the BU operational, quality, technical and financial objectives
  • Lead sales and client-relationship management over the assigned geographies
  • Define and take the commercial initiative over the assigned geographies on the basis of the Service Offering & the targeted Clients
  • Monitor the entire pipeline of opportunities in his/her business area and take the necessary actions to keep it in line with commercial target

 

 

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should have 15+ years of experience in the Energy domain (Oil&Gas, Power, Renewables, T&D). At least 5 years of them should be in a sales / commercial position. Knowledge of consulting and/or Testing/Inspection/Certification services is appreciated.
  • Fluency in English is required. 
  • Availability to travel for short trips (30-50% of working days) is required.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in team leadership is appreciated.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Finance Management
