RINA is currently recruiting for a AMEA Egypt Site Manager to join its site in Aswan within the Energy Project Solutions Division.
Mission
Provide independent on-site supervision, technical assurance, and compliance monitoring of all EPC construction activities for the Substation and BESS facilities. The Site Manager leads the Owner’s Engineer site team and ensures the works meet IFC drawings, specifications, standards, and safety requirements, and focuses on monitoring, verification, and reporting.
Key Accountabilities
1. Technical Oversight
• Monitor EPC construction against approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
• Identify non-compliances, design deviations, and technical risks.
• Ensure latest revisions are used at work fronts.
• Coordinate coverage between civil, electrical, Commissioning, SCADA, and BESS systems.
2. Quality Assurance
• Oversee EPC QA/QC performance.
• Review and approved test report based on ITS and FAT.
• Review NCRs, punch lists, corrective actions, and as-built records.
• Review and approved QA/QC documents FQP,MS,ITP,FAT, TP and Plans.
3. Engineering Review
• Review and approved EPC shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, testing procedures, and commissioning packs.
• Coordinate effectively with the back-office engineering team to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and alignment with project requirements.
• Prepare and deliver detailed technical comments that clearly communicate compliance gaps, design concerns, and required corrective actions.
4. Progress Validation
• Validate EPC physical progress vs. schedule.
• Identify technical blockers and recommend mitigation actions.
• Issue daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports.
5. Commissioning Oversight
• Review and approved pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
• Review and approved functional tests (protection, interlocking, SCADA mapping).
• Track commissioning punch lists.

6. Documentation Management
• Ensure latest revision documents are used.
• Maintain logs for RFIs, NCRs, submittals, tests, and inspections.
• Review OE reports before issuing to Owner.
7. OE Team Leadership
• Lead OE team QA/QC, Substation, Civil, Electrical, BESS, Commissioning, Document Control.
• Assign daily and weekly inspections plans.
• Ensure proper interface coordination among disciplines.
Education
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• 10–15+ years in power construction supervision.
• Strong OE/Consultant experience.
• Knowledge of HV/MV substations & BESS systems.
