Senior Electrical Engineer - Power

RINA is currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power to join its office in Romania within the Green Energy Solutions Division.
Mission
This role focuses on executing consultancy on as well as engineering and design of MV/HV electrical systems concerning power generation and industrial facilities grid connection.
Key Accountabilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating, reviewing and executing electrical systems design, electrical equipment selection and sizing, contractual documentation, grid connection agreements
- Conducting site visits/mentoring junior consultants on site visit inspections and supporting the production of reports;
- Carrying out and checking electrical design and equipment sizing studies;
- Coordinating consultancy activities on allocated projects and acting as main point of contact with the Client;
- Project management, proactively communicating with clients, the internal team and stakeholders to deliver client requirements;
- Preparing proposals and reports;
Qualifications & Competencies
- More than 5 years experience in electrical system design for power generation plant (conventional / renewables) and or HV/MV electrical systems
- ANRE certification
- Proficiency with AutoCad and power system study software (ETAP/DIgSILENT PowerFactory, Neplan or similar) essential;
- Proficient with DIALux (or analogous lighting calculation software) and/or DEHN Risk Tool beneficial;
- Previous experience working for a Engineering and Consultancy company or EPC Contractor would be beneficial
- Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential
