RINA is currently recruiting for a Romania Non - Food Certification Lead Auditor to join its office in Romania within the Certification Europe Region Division.

Mission

The role focuses on planning, conducting, and managing audits within our certification business related to the different certification schemes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare, manage, and control the audit program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Check customer management system documents, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, and records, to verify compliance and accuracy.
  • Plan audits and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in and lead audits, conducting interviews, note-taking, and assessing the implementation of management systems.
  • Identify and define audit results (Positive and negative findings as non conformities, opportunity of improvement);
  • Draw up comprehensive audit reports detailing findings and recommendations for certification decisions.
  • Manage the follow-up process, including tracking non-conformities and corrective actions, ensuring resolution and compliance.
  • Conduct technical reviews of audit files and propose certification decisions based on thorough analysis.
  • Keep skills, qualifications, and certifications up to date by staying informed about industry standards and best practices.
  • Monitor the performance of resources involved in the certification process, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain updated records of customer data and other information relevant to the audit process.
  • Manage technical meetings with customers, fostering positive relationships and addressing any technical concerns.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor degree
  • Work experience: at least 2 years work experience in a certification body
  • Successful completion of auditor training course for the following standards:  ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001
  • Demonstrates knowledge of how a business operates to ensure appropriate interpretation of standards
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
  • Proven negotiation skills to be able to explain audit findings to organization’s management
  • Learning ability to keep up with changes to business, industry, management thinking and developing assessment styles
  • Strong written communication skills able to formulate clear, concise and professional reports, explaining technical issues, within required timeframes.
  • Self-organization skills / self-motivated,  needs to be able to manage his/her own workload to maximize self-effectiveness
  • Fluent knowledge of English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to manage and negotiate as a problem solver
  • Excellent customer orientation
