Romania Junior Agriculture & Food Certification Auditor

RINA is currently recruiting for a Romania Junior Agriculture & Food Certification Auditor to join its office in Bucharest within the International Certification Division.
Mission
This role focuses on managing the audits process related to the different certification schemes with the focus on food and agriculture. #LI-DP1
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of the audit program;
- Support the review of customer documents (manuals, procedures, records) for compliance;
- Help plan and execute audits under the guidance of senior auditors, including taking notes and conducting interviews;
- Assist in identifying audit results, such as non-conformities and improvement opportunities;
- Help draft audit reports and follow up on non-conformities and corrective actions;
- Learn and assist in technical reviews of documents related to certification decisions;
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and certification standards;
- Assist in maintaining customer data and audit records;
- Collaborate with senior auditors and external consultants to ensure the smooth running of the audit process;
- Support customer relationships by addressing queries and assisting in providing technical information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Agriculture, Agronomy, Organic farming, or related fields.
- Previous experience in auditing or the agricultural sector, preferably at least 2-3 years.
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, modern agricultural technologies, crop and soil management, as well as relevant legal aspects and regulations.
- Familiarity with auditing standards specified for the agricultural sector.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, agricultural personnel, and audit teams.
- Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly and precisely.
- Good level of English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work with confidentiality and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
- Objectivity and impartiality in assessments and audit reports.
- Ability to efficiently manage time and resources to meet the multiple requirements of different audit projects.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and situations, including different types of farms, crops, or agricultural practices.
- Flexibility to travel and work in various locations.
