RINA is currently recruiting for a Romania Certification Quality Manager to join its office in Bucharest  within the Certification Europe Region Division.

Mission

 

The Certification Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization's quality management systems are developed, implemented, and maintained to the highest standards. This role involves leading the quality assurance team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Ensure interface with RENAR accreditation body. 
  • Provide support to Department Directors to maintain accreditations obtained at RINA SIMTEX OC level.
  • Coordinate the process of obtaining new accreditations for new certification schemes. 
  • Manage documents of the management system implemented at RINA SIMTEX OC. 
  • Ensure necessary processes and procedures for the management system are defined, implemented, and maintained. 
  • Monitor and update RENAR accreditation documents and other relevant guides. 
  • Raise awareness among internal staff and collaborators regarding changes in system documentation, accreditation standards, and regulations. 
  • Withdraw outdated documentation and monitor unintended use. 
  • Analyze and manage complaints received at RINA SIMTEX OC level. 
  • Provide secretariat support for the Appeals Treatment Committee. 
  • Support CAMI and provide requested documents for analyses. 
  • Develop, submit for approval, and disseminate the annual internal audit and training schedule. Schedule, organize, coordinate, and monitor internal audit activities. 
  • Communicate audit schedules and plans to departments/units. 
  • Train internal auditors and propose audit team composition. 
  • Mediate conflicts between internal auditors and auditees. 
  • Regularly report on identified non-conformities and corrective action effectiveness.
  • Identify risks and improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions.
     

What are we looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, with a strong focus on ISO standards ( 17025, 14001, 9001, 45001, 27001, 22000).
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role and 3 years of experience working with or within an accredited OEC are a plus.
  • Experience in managing certification processes is highly desirable.
  • Thorough understanding of ISO standards for management systems accredited by OEC and European regulatory requirements relevant to OEC.
  • Familiarity with the specific terminology and principles of management system certification.
  • Proficient in audit principles, guidelines, and techniques for management systems.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both writing and speaking.
  • Strong analytical thinking, synthesis capabilities, and strategic vision.
  • Process-oriented approach with excellent organizational, planning, and change management skills.
  • Ability to make quick decisions, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines and stress.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive understanding of reference frameworks used by OEC for certifications.
  • Familiarity with normative documents related to OEC’s management systems aligned with current organizational, operational, and accreditation standards. #LI-DP1
