RINA is currently recruiting for a Romania Certification Business Developer to join its office in Bucharest within the Certification Europe Region Division.

Mission

 

The Business Developer plays an important role in driving RINA’s growth by promoting an assigned portfolio of services and/or focusing on a specific geographical area. This role combines strategic business development with key account management, ensuring sustained client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Identify and follow up on new business prospects to expand the sales pipeline.
  • Assist in contract negotiations and closures to secure business opportunities.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify mutual opportunities and expand service offerings with existing clients.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide timely updates on market trends, news, and insights.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Meet with clients to understand their needs, propose tailored solutions, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Focus on retaining key accounts, driving repeat business, and exploring opportunities in new markets.
  • Prepare and review customer contracts, tenders, and quotations. Ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with distributed international teams to align strategies and deliver client-focused solutions.

What are we looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s degree (background in industrial sectors is advantageous).
  • At least 3 years in Business Development and Sales roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Serbian and English is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time (valid driver’s license required).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and previous experience in related fields is a plus.
  • Experience in drafting, appraising, and negotiating detailed contracts and agreements is advantageous.
  • Great communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to various challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Results-oriented mindset focused on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and tools for client relationship and sales pipeline management.
  • Basic understanding of legal and contractual matters related to business agreements.
