RINA is currently recruiting for a Romania Agriculture & Food Certification Auditor to join its office in Bucharest within the Certification Europe Region Division.

Mission

The role focuses on reviewing various documents, conducting audits, identifying findings, and contributing to the certification process related to the different certification schemes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Document Review:

Check customer management system documents, including manuals, procedures, instructions, files, records, and technical documents, to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

  • Audit Participation:

Participate in and conduct audits, which involves conducting interviews, taking comprehensive notes, and evaluating the implementation of management systems.

  • Audit Result Definition:

Identify and define audit results (Positive and negative findings as non-conformities, opportunity of improvement).

  • Technical Review:

Carry out a technical review of audit files, providing insights and recommendations for certification decisions.

  • Skill Maintenance:

Keep skills, qualifications, and certifications up to date by staying informed about industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

  • Data Management:

Maintain updated records of customer data and other information relevant to the audit process.

  • Customer Focus:

Demonstrate a strong customer focus by understanding and responding to customer requests and needs.

Strive for high customer satisfaction by ensuring the quality and effectiveness of audit activities.

What are we looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in food, agriculture, agronomy, organic farming, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in auditing or the agricultural sector, preferably at least 2-3 years.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural practices, modern agricultural technologies, crop and soil management, as well as relevant legal aspects and regulations.
  • Familiarity with auditing standards specified for the agricultural sector.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and audit teams.
  • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly and precisely.
  • Ability to work with confidentiality and uphold high ethical and professional standards.
  • Objectivity and impartiality in assessments and audit reports.
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and resources to meet the multiple requirements of different audit projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and situations, including different types of farms, crops, or agricultural practices.
  • Flexibility to travel and work in various location. #LI-DP1
