RINA is currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Smart Inspection Engineer to join its office in Bologna or Venice (Italy) within the Operations and Maintenance Engineering Division.​

Mission

RINA is currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Smart Inspection Engineer to join its office in Bologna or Venice  within the Operations and Maintenance Engineering Division.

The Infrastructure Smart Inspection Engineer is responsible for incorporating smart inspection technologies and methodologies into infrastructure inspection processes. This role involves utilizing advanced inspection tools and data analytics to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of inspections across various infrastructure components.

Key Accountabilities

  • Coordination and control of technical activities provided by suppliers together with the visual and NDE tests;
  • Performing on-site inspections of civil assets such as Bridges, Tunnels and Retaining Walls;
  • Coordination with companies and road operators on temporary roadworks site planning and accessibility;
  • Data analysis and reporting;
  • Non-destructive testing activities supervision related to structures.

Education

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering General

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Knowledge of civil asset inspection frameworks and methodologies;
  • Experience with FEM modelling;
  • Availability to travel for site inspections ;
  • Nice to have: Bridge Inspector Certification (or VT Level 2) issued by an accredited certification body;
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel);
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD;#LI-SC1 
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Compensation Data

Compensation & BenefitsThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €35,000 and €45,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.

The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
