Offshore Installation Engineer

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Offshore Installation Engineer is to serve as primary Technical interface with the Contractor Vessel Offshore Operation Engineers:

• To oversee on-vessel Construction/Technical Supervisors and Inspectors.
• To support on-vessel safety, quality, and installation procedure c\w check lists.
• To provide technical installation support to CPY Vessel Management Team ensuring CTR executes the scope in full compliance with the installation procedure and risk assessment.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate extensive experience on large deepwater and pipelay installation engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience:

• 8 years minimum marine construction experience.
• 5 years minimum subsea ultra- deepwater offshore installation experience.
• Good knowledge and understanding of marine activities involving DP3 Pipelay. Vessel, DP3 Heavy Subsea Construction Vessels DP2 MSVs.
• Fluent English

Key Accountabilities:

• Offshore Installation procedures – installation/key documents (drawings, Analysis, etc..).
• Hard and Soft copies for the above.
• Laminated copies of key drawings for posting in the office.
• Updated Project Schedule.
• Make sure that Contractor Project Engineer check Tooling quantities/fittings/sockets etc. .
• Make sure that Contractor Project Engineer crosscheck Procurement Equipment checklist.
• Make sure that Contractor Project Engineer confirms that all equipment, rigging and materials have been loaded out, all certification is received, and everything is as expected.
