RINA is currently recruiting for a Tuscany, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria & Molise Certification Lead Auditor to join its office in Ancona, Italy within the Mediterranean & Africa Certification Division.​

Mission

The role focuses on reviewing various documents, conducting audits, identifying findings, and contributing to the certification process related to the different certification schemes including safety, environment, energy and sustainability, with particular reference to the following Standards:

•    Management Systems ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001

•    Regulation for the verification and validation of the EMAS Environmental Declaration (CE/1221/2009)

•    ISO 50001 / UNI 11352, ISO 20121, ISO 14064, ISO 14067, ISO 14046, ISSC / Bioliquids and Biofuels, Emission Trading System (ETS) #LI-DC2

Key Accountabilities

Audit Management & Execution
Plan, coordinate, and lead audit programs and activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Conduct audits (on-site/remote), including document review, interviews, and assessment of management system implementation.

Findings, Reporting & Certification Support
Identify audit findings (conformities, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities) and produce clear audit reports with recommendations. Perform technical reviews and support certification decisions.

Follow-Up & Data Management
Monitor corrective actions and non-conformities to ensure timely resolution and compliance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date audit and client records.

Client & Stakeholder Management
Engage with clients through technical meetings, addressing concerns and building strong relationships. Independently manage large, complex, and multi-site/multi-service accounts.

Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor auditor/resource performance and ensure continuous professional development by staying current with standards, regulations, and best practices

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Business Administration Finance Management

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in auditing, quality management systems, or certification processes, preferably in regulated industries.
Strong expertise in audit management, including planning, leading, and executing complex, multi-site and multi-service audits.
In-depth knowledge of management systems and document review, with the ability to assess compliance, accuracy, and effectiveness.
Proven ability to identify and evaluate audit findings, including non-conformities and opportunities for improvement, ensuring clear and consistent outcomes.
Skilled in reporting and certification support, delivering clear, structured audit reports and contributing to informed certification decisions.
Experienced in follow-up and compliance management, effectively tracking corrective actions and ensuring timely resolution.
Solid background in technical review processes, ensuring audit quality and adherence to standards.
Commitment to continuous professional development, staying up to date with evolving regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with complex clients and manage large contracts.

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria, and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €35,000 and €48,000 and will be finally defined on candidate’s professional experience, qualifications, competencies, and overall alignment with the role.

In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.

The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
