RINA is currently recruiting for a Electrics Mandatory Certification Inspector (DPR 462/01) to join its office in Ancona within the Certification Italy Region Division.

Mission

The role is focused on ensuring the safety and quality of industrial services (e.g. electrics mandatory certification, lifting equipment mandatory certification, elevator and plant certification, welding, pressure equipment, personnnel certification and CE marking) helping businesses meet regulatory standards and deliver reliable, safe services to their customers. The role works under the supervision of Senior/Principal Inspector on more complex assignments.  #LI-GZ1

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform on-site inspections, examinations and audits to assess compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations
  • Prepare detailed inspection, examination and audit reports, documenting findings and providing clear recommendations for corrective actions or improvements
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections
  • Review materials, manufacturing/process procedures and testing methods (e.g. NDT) to ensure they meet certification requirements
  • Monitor the quality control processes during the activities, ensuring adherence to quality control plans
  • Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and regulations to ensure that all inspections or examinations are conducted in accordance with the latest requirements
  • Assess the qualifications and certifications of services and operators, ensuring they meet the appropriate standards
  • Promote and enforce safety measures, ensuring that the operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner
  • Evaluate the reliability of equipment and plant inspected with tests and measures to ensure a compliance safety
  • Communicate with clients, answer their questions competently, and providing information about the certification scheme
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection procedures
  • Stay current with the latest inspection techniques and technologies, and provide training to colleagues and clients as needed

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General
