Abu Dhabi, AE
RINA is currently recruiting for a UAE Energy Reliability Engineer to join its office in Abu Dhabi within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Mission
The Reliability Engineer with expertise in Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing equipment performance and reliability, identifying potential failure modes, and implementing preventive measures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop maintenance strategies, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement in asset management. Strong analytical skills and experience with RCM, FMEA, and RAM methodologies are essential for this role.
Key Accountabilities
-
RCM Analysis and Implementation:
- Perform and implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis to optimize equipment performance and maintenance strategies.
- Identify critical failure modes, their causes, and consequences to develop effective maintenance plans.
-
Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA):
- Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and assess potential failure risks.
- Implement preventive actions based on FMEA findings to mitigate risks and improve reliability.
-
Maintenance Strategy Development:
- Develop and optimize maintenance programs based on RCM principles, balancing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Establish maintenance schedules and intervals based on equipment criticality and operating conditions.
-
Condition Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance:
- Implement condition monitoring techniques (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) to detect early signs of equipment degradation.
- Use predictive maintenance tools to forecast failures and extend the lifespan of critical assets.
-
Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
- Recommend changes to maintenance procedures and practices to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
-
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to develop and refine reliability strategies.
- Provide technical support and training to the maintenance team on RCM best practices.
-
RAM Analysis:
- Conduct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop RAM models and simulations to predict equipment behavior and performance under various operating conditions.
Education
