UAE Energy Maintenance Engineer (Instrumentation)

RINA is currently recruiting for a UAE Energy Maintenance Engineer (Instrumentation) to join its office in Abu Dhabi within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Mission
The Maintenance Engineer (Instrumentation & Control) is responsible for overseeing various aspects of asset maintenance within engineering consulting projects. This role involves managing project technical documentation, developing asset registers, implementing CMMS templates, creating maintenance plans, and workload planning. The engineer utilises mechanical handling software such as Autocad, Navisworks, SmartPlant, and MS Office to execute tasks efficiently. The incumbent is accountable for all activities related to assigned tasks and engineering activities associated with the project, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Key Accountabilities
Project Technical Documentation Management
- Manage project technical documentation including specifications, procedures, calculations, reports, etc.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of technical documentation with project requirements and standards.
- Organize and maintain documentation for easy accessibility and retrieval.
Asset Register Development
- Develop and maintain asset registers for client projects.
- Ensure accurate recording of asset information including identification, location, condition, and maintenance history.
- Regularly update asset registers to reflect changes and additions.
CMMS Templates Development and Implementation
- Design and develop Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) templates.
- Customize CMMS templates to meet specific project requirements and client needs.
- Implement CMMS templates effectively for efficient maintenance management.
Maintenance Plan and Workload Planning
- Develop comprehensive maintenance plans based on asset requirements and operational needs.
- Conduct workload planning to optimize maintenance activities and resources.
- Ensure alignment of maintenance plans with project timelines and objectives.
Utilization of Mechanical Handling Software and MS Office
- Utilize mechanical handling software such as Autocad, Navisworks, and SmartPlant for asset maintenance activities.
- Proficiently use MS Office applications for documentation, data analysis, and reporting purposes.
- Stay updated with advancements in software tools and technologies relevant to asset maintenance engineering.
Overall Task Responsibility and Engineering Activities
- Assume overall responsibility for assigned tasks related to asset maintenance projects.
- Execute engineering activities including but not limited to design, analysis, documentation, and reporting.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Education
Qualifications
Proven + 7 years experience in asset maintenance management, preferably in an engineering consulting environment.
Proficiency in mechanical handling software (Autocad, Navisworks, SmartPlant) and MS Office.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations in asset maintenance engineering.
