Senior Technical Safety - Process Safety engineer, Abu Dhabi

RINA is looking for a Senior Process Safety engineer.

He will work as part of our client's engineering team an Oil & Gas EPC project. Expected seniority, with flexibility, is 8 -15 years.

The role will involve the understanding and development of HSE technical analyses and desk studies and relevant reporting, such as, for example:  QRAs, Safety Cases / HSE Cases within an oil & gas engineering project. Desirable requirements:

• working experience in Loss Prevention and Health & Safety Analyses activities for chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas industry onshore/offshore, including working experience in FERA, QRA and Loss Prevention Analyses, Consequence Assessment, Event Tree and Fault Tree Analysis, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, FMEA
• Familiarity with main software packages for QRA and FERA, HAZOP/HAZID recording (e.g. Phaworks, PHAPro, and alike)
• Understanding of the technical issues of O&G and Petrochemical world
• familiarity with ADNOC standards is a strong plus.

Education expected:

• University Degree preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering or Nuclear Engineering
• Fluency in English Language  

The project is expected to last 1+ year with possibility of extension, main working place is Abu Dhabi.
