RINA is currently recruiting for a DFI Eurasia Business Developer to join its office in Genoa or Rome (Italy) within the RINA Consulting Commercial Management Division.

Mission

This role offers involvement in many high-profile opportunities worldwide in key sectors such as environment, sustainability, decarbonization, green energy, green finance. You will be integrated in a team, fully dedicated to the management of the largest international Development Financial Institutions customers (DFIs).  #LI-VB1

 

We are offering a fixed-term contract (maternity leave cover)

Key Accountabilities

  • Analyzing DFIs investment programs in specific countries and sectors, to understand their priorities
  • Monitor, identify and evaluate the opportunities launched by DFIs
  • Contribute/coordinate the preparation of Expressions of Interest and proposals to reply to open and restricted tenders launched by DFIs/Lenders/Investors
  • Identify and interact with suitable partners and subcontractors to shape the best team for the assignment
  • Prepare RINA project references and credentials for a specific opportunity
  • Be informed of DFIs’ procedures for tendering and awarding contracts
  • Analyze DFIs’ organization: chart, key functions/personnel and locations world-wide
  • Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with DFIs
  • Support RINA promotional and commercial activities with potential partners with complementary competencies
  • Some degree of project management, proactively communicating with clients, partners, the internal team and stakeholders to deliver client requirements
  • Conducting site visits/joining Senior Consultants on field trips and supporting the production of reports
  • Support the team in preparing internal reporting of activities performed and achievements
  • Facilitate the internal networking, by interacting with the responsible staff of the operational units and geographies of RINA

Education

Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree in Political Science

Qualifications

A degree in International Relations or equivalent qualification is essential

Working experience in consultancy and on funded proposals/projects in a plus but not mandatory

Basic knowledge of the global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) market is a plus

Creativity, curiosity and open-minded approach

Interest in working with Banks and International Financial Institutions

Excellent level of written and spoken English is essential
